Scope of Work

Draft date: October 8, 2026. This explains the $500 build and the $100 monthly plan. It is not legal advice. Add-on prices below are PLACEHOLDER amounts.

Included in the $500 build

  • Up to 5 pages
  • A layout that works on a phone first
  • A contact form that emails the business
  • Page titles and short descriptions for search
  • 2 rounds of edits after the first preview
  • Launch on hosting we look after

You provide the words and photos unless you buy the copywriting add-on. We place them, write the page titles and short descriptions, and set up a contact form that emails you. “A round of edits” means one list of changes after we send a preview link. We do that list. That is one round. You get 2 revision rounds. A new idea after those rounds is quoted separately. Site content and design transfer to you at launch.

A normal pace is about two to three weeks after we have your content. That is a target, not a guaranteed date.

Included in $100 a month

  • Hosting and HTTPS
  • Keeping the site online and its software updated
  • Up to 2 text or image swaps a month, or about 30 minutes of edits, whichever comes first.
  • Email support on business days

Optional add-ons

You choose these on the price page. Each price is a PLACEHOLDER until we replace it.

  • Extra page. Each page past the 5 included in the base package. $100 each once. PLACEHOLDER.
  • Online booking. A booking link or embedded scheduler so people can reserve a time. $180 once. PLACEHOLDER.
  • Simple online shop. A small catalog and checkout for a handful of products. Not a full warehouse store. $300 once and $20 a month. PLACEHOLDER.
  • Copywriting. We write the page text from a short conversation. Otherwise you send the words. $250 once. PLACEHOLDER.
  • Logo refresh. A tidy-up of a logo you already have. Not a brand identity project from scratch. $120 once. PLACEHOLDER.
  • Rush delivery. We start sooner and aim for a first preview inside a week, once we have your content. $200 once. PLACEHOLDER.

“Simple online shop” means a small catalog, not a warehouse, subscriptions for your customers, or a custom inventory system. “Online booking” means connecting a scheduler, not building a custom reservation app. “Logo refresh” means tidying a logo you already have.

Out of scope, quoted separately

  • Pages beyond the included 5, unless you pay for extra pages.
  • Copywriting, logo work, photography, and video, unless an add-on covers them.
  • Buying a domain name. We will connect a domain you own. The registrar bills you.
  • Ads, ongoing SEO campaigns, email marketing, SMS programs, and CRM setup.
  • Custom web apps, memberships, and full e-commerce beyond the simple shop add-on.
  • More than 2 revision rounds, and edits beyond the monthly small-update limit.
  • Rush timing, unless you buy the rush add-on. Rush still needs your content.
  • Writing or reviewing your own legal pages, licenses, or industry-specific claims.

If you ask for something out of scope, we email a price before we do it. You do not owe that price unless you agree.

What we need from you

Content, feedback, and login or DNS access when it is time to launch. If those stall, the timeline moves with them. We will say so instead of guessing.
